  • Did you ever take a foray into Sci fi (not starwars)?

      Loading editor
    • If you mean to ask if I enjoy any sci-fi besides Star Wars, then yes. Star Trek, Destiny, Emberverse if you count that as sci-fi...

If you mean as a roleplay, then no.

    • Interesting. I could have sworn you made a sci fi faction. Must be confusing you with someone else.

    • I've been technically in a few RPs, but very quickly lose interest, often not posting a single word.

    • Ah, I can say the same.

Normally I love both the universe and developing it but the RPs not as much.

In my opinion sci fi gives a bit more freedom when it comes to faction/lore creating then fantasy and the like. Only down side is more ways to be OP (looks at a special few)

  • Out of curiosity, what lands do they control?

  • Are you going to be active enough to reprise the role of ringbearer? Based on the excitement for the reboot, the RP will most likely be fast paced towards the beginning. If you don't think you'll be active enough to maintain that role, I won't block you from joining the RP, my only concern is the importance of that role. If you think you'll be active enough, there's nothing for us to worry about.

  • I would like to at one point get all the lore between them finished.

  • currently they are a pretty big black spot in my lore. I would like to flesh them out a bit.

Here is currently the land for Xin (This is just the mainland and does not include the many colonies and client states)

      2. Ok.

      3. Atmoran merchants, specifically, would dislike them then :P

      4. Good, they have marble and access to gems, especially emeralds. What about glasswork and hardwoods? They also have garlic and other more western-growing seasonings. I doubt they've much use for importing fish, though...

Maybe there's an animal they have around which has parts they would buy?

      1. Uhh... all of the land past is either Ishva'aa territory or part of Khand....

      3. Dislike them all you want the Yuan is the currency of Rhunic trade

      4. Xin already has a good glass working industry and many exotic woods from it's colonies. It also has sulfur and other such chemicals from it's volcano colonies which atmora would probably be interested in.

Depends on the trader they do love exotic animal furs, pelts, and feathers.

  • Besides Rome, what's your favorite historic culture (preferably not European or anything similar to Roman)?

      Loading editor
    • That'd be Japan.

      Cool.

Aramir, what if you made Atmora a former Numenorean colony that took slaves from Tayōnotochi?

        Loading editor
    • I already have done that, but it was because the guy who founded it was seriously disillusioned with the country. Abrâzan was not the type to approve slavery. That happened later, after he was dead for centuries already.

Well, it doesn't have to be slavery, but I think something along those lines would be cooler than what you currently have, just because of its simplicity (no offense).

    • By the way, that public role play I'm working on? That takes place after Marius returns from the islands. Maybe an adventurous local decides to go with him to see the rest of the world, and they could be your character in it.

It'd probably be the guy's daughter, Nambinitsoa. She's head of her tribe's military affairs, so someone else would have to be temporarily put in charge, although her younger brother would probably make more sense. He can afford to go on an adventure more than she can.
