It's been awhile since we have done one and I've been wanting to do one something a little bit light hearted.
I had one thing in mind in which a Tauredain man/women/whatever it is is captured by Xinese Pirates during a raid little do they know the Tauredain in question is a close friend of an Dragon Prince (Dragon Princes are right below the Emperor when it comes to authority and respect)
Salakhul alongside a few other Tauredain are rounded up and thrown on some sort of ship or house or something (They are currently blindfolded). They here some people speaking in a strange language Salakhul quickly realizes it's Xinese.
They pay no attention but they do take of the blindfolds a few minuets later. They are seated in some sort of room surrounded by greedy and sullen looking men at the head of this group siting on a red throne what looks like an elf he currently is tossing around a gold and jade ring in his hand.
"Good then shut your yap and maybe I'll be nice and fed you later." The men around you begin to round up the other captives and Salakhul and bring/push/force them inside a caged off section of the boat.
They throw him into the cell with the others and have a few guards sitting around the cell. One sits back and begins to whittle what looks like a human figure but with the head of a rat and the other starts to hum some sort of song.
"Now's not the time to be tired. Now is the time to get ready to meet a princess and save my neck." He waves his hand and Salakhul is 'lead' to some sort of building near the port inside he is swarmed by servants.
I am starting an A Song of Ice and Fire D&D group! Do you have skype? If so, you can join! Others in the group are Dragon and Bow, my cohorts on TOA. If you have a problem with letting us hear your voice, or you don't have a microphone, we can work things out. So far, our characters:
Dragon - Ser Argain, a knight formerly in service to House Bolton.
Bow - Morvir, a wildling wandering south of the Wall.
We're starting a few days before the beginning of "The Sworn Sword", the second tale of Dunk & Egg. As all D&D games need antagonists, the time period offers several: Daemon II Blackfyre and his brothers, Bittersteel, Bloodraven, Raymun Redbeard, and Dagon Greyjoy.
Note that it will not take place in the same place as the Dunk and Egg stories (unless you take it there..) so you will not have to fear spoilers for the prequels if you wish to read them.
The one kingdom in GOT thrones that really interests me... No information what so ever... It's like Cathay from warhammer another really cool chinese style faction that gets barley any lore. Why must the Fantasy genre not make lore for the massive chinese style factions, why!

Well it would just become a version of Xin seeing as that is how I do a Fantasy China plus all of the lore already is like any other fantasy version of China so Xin stuff would fit right in.
I always assumed that the Dothraki were driven off by Yi Ti kinda like what probably happened to the Huns.
Huh. I always wondered how large Yi Ti actually is seeing as it is pretty much in the corner of the 'known world' but it must be pretty powerful if it can demand tribute from Qarth and survive countless raids by the Jogos Nhai.
Although the actual situation with the Jogos Nhai I have no clue seeing as some I assume 'clans' have sworn fealty to the God Emperor of Yi Ti while other detest and raid Yi Ti
